Jewelry to Avoid this Holiday Season: 1

xmas earringsNot to be a Scrooge and throw a bah humbug all over the holiday joy of jewelry lovers out there, but during the holiday season, and especially during Christmas, there are certain types of jewelry that you really need to avoid — or at least moderate.

We all know someone with a hideous Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer pin, complete with light up nose; or those frightful Santa Claus earrings with eerie, movable joints.

Now, one standard rule of jewelry is that it represents personal taste; it reflects the wearer’s personality. So, some people will prefer diamonds and others will like cute stocking earrings like the ones you see here.

So, if you want to wear your reindeer brooch or your stocking earrings, so be it — but, among other things to avoid, you may not want to give Christmas or holiday jewelry as a gift.
