Harry Winston: Starry, Starry Night

We all know Harry Winston — and to know Harry is to love Harry, as we have seen quite a few times in the past, both out and about and right here in this blog as well.

Why do we love Harry Winston?  Well, the ring you can see here to the left is a prime example.  We love Harry because the designs are classic, yet unquestionably innovative.  Harry Winston can take something that should, by all rights, look too large and perhaps even a little bit gaudy, and instead do a complete turn around and make it look utterly exquisite instead.

I am not a huge fan of cocktail rings, and while this ring does not quite classify as cocktail, it almost could due to its size alone.  And yet, the quality of the stone, the setting, and the layout of the diamonds all combine to make me wish I got paid more so I could purchase this right right now.

This is the Star Sapphire Ring, complete with teardrop shaped diamonds.  There are forty one diamonds in all.
