Damas Creates Spectacular Necklace and Earring Set for Onam
Onam is a large and important festival celebrated in India welcoming King Mahabali who is said to visit during the period of August to September. Taking place in the state of Kerala, it is recognized and promoted internationally by the government of India. As a result, thousands of tourists visit every year during the Carnival of Onam. According to the legend, King Mahabali was a well-liked do-gooder. Because of his egotistical nature, though, the other gods brought him down from power. But since he had done so much good for his people, God granted him the right to return every year to the ones he loved.
Commemorating the festivities, Damas, has designed a limited edition piece called the Onam Masterpiece Set, a glittering display of diamonds ensconced in twenty-two carat gold artfully fashioned in a necklace and earring set.
