Cocktail or Cocktail Ring?

It goes without saying that we have all heard of cocktail rings.  By and large, they are fun and funky, adding a great, flirty touch to an evening out.  They are a colorful addition to a little black dress and make a great accent piece for more casual affairs.  But let me ask you one question: have you ever seen a cocktail ring that actually looks like a cocktail?

If your answer to that question was “no,” then you simply need to take a look to the right.  These are two pieces from Piaget’s colorful new collection, entitled Limelight Paradise — with good reason.

The stones in these rings are amethyst and blue topaz, respectively.  If you look closely, you will even see some salt on the rim of your cocktail ring — done in diamonds, of course.
