So now that you have your budget all set, the next portion is going to be deciding if you want white gold, silver, gold or even platinum!  Now, many people do not know the difference between all of these metals and so I will go through them really quickly so you can understand and get the right kind of metal for you!

Firstly, white gold is simply that, gold that is white.  This version of gold is extremely people among people who simply can not stand the look of yellow gold.  I happen to be one of those people; I love white gold because it looks almost like expensive silver!  Now, the thing about silver is it tarnishes really badly and it can turn your skin green, so you need to watch out for that.

Platinum is by far the best metal out there but it is definitely one of the most expensive and with the way jewelry stock is on the rise, it is getting more and more expensive!  So now that you have all of the metals down …. We can move onto the size of the chain, in the next blog!
