They are so gorgeous, they honestly stole my breath away.

What struck me the hardest was this absolutely exquisite Shooting Star Diamond Necklace. Set in 14k white gold with pave diamonds, Saffron Lloyd really showcases class, innovation, and some serious dazzle.

The pendant is about sixteen millimeters in height as well as sixteen millimeters in width. It is totally a designer piece. The star pendant’s outer surface features gorgeous 0.51 carat diamonds in pave set.

The chain, too, is white gold, and in a nice piece of symmetry, it is sixteen inches long. Further, it is mead to thread right through the back of the pendant, so the overall look is wonderfully clean.

It is said she wanted to design jewelry which would satisfy the desires of every woman who wore it, while managing to be chic, classic, and high quality.

I would definitely have to say she succeeded. I mean, just take a look at the Leslie Greene Sterling 1.00ct Gemstone Pendant. The openwork scroll is both intricate and exquisite, and the sterling enhancer it details is likewise beautiful.

In the center of the pendant, there lies a faceted gemstone in a cushion like shape. Surrounding the prong are bead set, round diamonds. A coin edge brings the whole look together.

Typically, the women’s collection of silver work also incorporates the jewelry designer’s hammered gold as well. However, the men’s collection, which was launched back in 2007, featured solely silver with a lot of very geometrically interesting shapes.

Now the women get to enjoy yet another new silver collection. It features some of those same geometrical shapes, but there is a definite floral bent within the pieces in this collection as well.

The designer used Iznik pottery as inspiration for this collection. It features openwork shapes, which allows the jewelry to feel quite light. Again, you will see some gold in this collection, as well as diamonds — as you can see in this absolutely exquisite bracelet.

Now, let’s talk about the piece we have at hand. This is just one of the many pieces out of the Rose Collection and I have to say that it is pretty damn beautiful. This piece is an 18K white gold wide band that is paved with one hundred and twelve diamonds. Yes, that is 112 diamonds around it. The total weight in carats? About 1.02, which is incredible for the price tag of just $5,600!

Remember, keep Da Beers in mind whenever you are looking for something of quality – they have all of the quality of the world!

It is, respectfully, rather easy for sapphires to get a little gaudy, even to look a little messy. This is perhaps owing to the relative delicacy of the gems. It is rather like some jewelry designers want to get the most bang for their buck and pile on the sapphires.

So, when dealing with these dazzling blue stones, you want something tasteful and elegant. And if you want tasteful and elegant, you need to look at the jewelry produced by Gordon’s Jewelry’s, which Meyer M. Gordon founded back in 1905. Just by the quality of the work, you can tell that the establishment is well over one hundred years old.

For example, fast your eyes on the Sapphire and Diamond Medallion Pendant, which is done up in beautiful 14K white gold. The diamonds make up a total of a quarter of a carat, the chain is a box chain measuring eighteen inches in length, and it closes with the aid of a spring ring clasp.

It is like unexpectedly coming across a truly fantastic book in the rack at the grocery store. When you are walking along — or browsing along, as the case may be — unawares and suddenly come across a piece so beautiful it takes your breath away, well … that is truly something to remember.

Behold, then, the Poison Berry Ring, from Australian jewelry designer, Katherine Jetter. As you can see, this designer definitely loves opals, and she uses them with a discerning and innovative eye. Here, the petals are made of carved opal and they surround a rubellite center, the stone being 4.30 karat. Micropave diamonds of 2.80 carats and a tsavorite twist complete the gorgeous picture.

While the ring is a bit steep at $14,000, you get your money’s worth in the craftsmanship alone.

If your answer to that question was “no,” then you simply need to take a look to the right. These are two pieces from Piaget’s colorful new collection, entitled Limelight Paradise — with good reason.

The stones in these rings are amethyst and blue topaz, respectively. If you look closely, you will even see some salt on the rim of your cocktail ring — done in diamonds, of course.

We all know Harry Winston — and to know Harry is to love Harry, as we have seen quite a few times in the past, both out and about and right here in this blog as well.

Why do we love Harry Winston? Well, the ring you can see here to the left is a prime example. We love Harry because the designs are classic, yet unquestionably innovative. Harry Winston can take something that should, by all rights, look too large and perhaps even a little bit gaudy, and instead do a complete turn around and make it look utterly exquisite instead.

I am not a huge fan of cocktail rings, and while this ring does not quite classify as cocktail, it almost could due to its size alone. And yet, the quality of the stone, the setting, and the layout of the diamonds all combine to make me wish I got paid more so I could purchase this right right now.

This is the Star Sapphire Ring, complete with teardrop shaped diamonds. There are forty one diamonds in all.
