Pandora: Check These Out!

Now, when I first hard about Pandora jewelry, I honestly had no idea what it was! I mean, I’ve heard of charm bracelets and personally, I always thought they were kind of lame, but then I heard about Pandora and actually found out what this beautiful jewelry is and I really thought about collecting this stuff! Then the price tag came out and well … I know that I definitely can not afford it.

Still though, there are so many people out there that simply love Pandora jewelry and have collected it for years! Pandora jewelry is a great, fantastic way to tell a little story via your jewelry. Just like the commercials! You really can tell when you have a baby or get married as Pandora has all sorts of different charms that allow you to do so!

I’m all for things that tell stories and if you are one of the many Pandora collectors out there … leave me a message, let me know the scoop on this beautiful jewelry and heck, maybe I will break down and start collecting it myself!

Hello Kitty Jewelry

You got to be kidding me. I like my Hello Kitty stuff (check out these Hello Kitty rims or this Hello Kitty Toaster), but I like my Hello Kitty stuff affordable and “I buy this for little money so I don’t feel bad for not actually wearing at as I’ll look like a 12-year-old”.

Well, the Hello Kitty Jewelry I found both at Neiman Marcus and at J.R. Dunn (Kimora Lee Simmons!) are anything but affordable, which makes them… useless, isn’t it? Who’s stupid enough to actually spend $3,450.00 on a Hello Kitty Watch — or $1,950.00 on a ring?

OR… 30 grand on a Hello Kitty Necklace? Photos right below — pretty decadent, aye!?

When we think of jewelry we think of diamond rings, gold necklaces and platinum bracelets. Those are obviously great (haha), but one must also think out of the box every once in a while.

The people over at Triumph have done just that when they created their Diamond Thong — a jewelry-lingerie item. A little cross-over, if you wish.

It looks pretty damn decadent if you ask me. I’ll take the thong and the boys, please!

Finally. FINALLY! Our close friends from Blog-Tique have just let us know that there’s a new website dedicated to jewelry party plans like Lia Sophia and Premier Designs we already mentioned here on the Wizard of Jewelry.

They also have a home jewelry sale forum which is great for consultants looking to discuss their businesses etc… It’s quiet now, but I’m sure it’ll pick up soon!

Baby Phat Jewelry

I’m a big fan of Baby Phat clothing and Baby Phat Lingerie, but I’m not too sure about Baby Phat Jewelry… I was browsing the Palm Beach Jewelry website and even though the Baby Phat pieces are extremely affordable (budget jewelry is the right word I think) I’m not that convinced…

Let’s take a look at one or two pieces from the Baby Phat Jewelry collection…

Baby Phat Logo Watch

The famous feline logo looks pretty in this watch generously filled with Swarovski-crystals. This is by far my favorite from the collection!

Baby Phat Logo Gold Ring

This is a perfect example of what I don’t like about Baby Phat. They’re overblinging. This looks as cheap as it is — $15. You can even do it in installments, haha!

What you pay is what you get, no?

Silpada Designs: Fashion Jewelry

Silpada Designs is one more home-show jewelry shopping scheme in my opinion — it’s the type that tries to sell inferior products at what they call competitive prices, to consumers who feel extreme amounts of social pressure to buy something seeing as their close friend didn’t invite them over for free drinks in order to not make a little profit of her own…

It’s really capitalism at its worst, due to the inferior products factor… Oh well, I’m anticipating quite an interesting discussion on Blog-Tique as they have a BIG readerbase of Premier Designs and Lia Sophia jewelers…. They’re going to EAT SILPADA UP.
